Matthias Dorfer, hunting for medals, that's his goal

  

With 12 years Matthias Dorfer got to know the sport at a taster training and since then he has been infected with Biathlon.
The native of Bad Reichenhall lives and trains in Ruhpolding where we get to know another cool young athletes of the DSV.

 

With 22 years Matthias is one of the boys who could still delight us the next Biathlon years. 2014 he won with the junior relay gold in Presque Isle (United States). Now he relies on to attack in IBU Cup races. But long term, he squints also towards the World Cup.

2014/2015 took Matthias already the overall victory in Germany Cup and in the upcoming winter he wants to qualify on the IBU Cup for the European Championship. Whether he gets a World Cup use, he says, if things go well, perhaps it works.

Apart from biathlon Matthias likes as almost all professional athletes many sports. Football is his passion, there he can inspire himself. FC Bayern is his club and if it fits, he kicks with pleasure.




 

Motor Racing, playing golf or meeting friends, so he is never boring in his spare time. And if he’s not on the road, he prefers to play FIFA.

„Hard“ music for weight training or for longer units in the ear and the chats, that like Matthias. On a visit to his parents one encounter Matthias sometimes totally relaxed. In employment with his little dog he can deepen himself.

 

Full speed motivated also Matthias Dorfer starts soon in the new season.
